Our Story
Protecting the Headwaters of Plott Creek: A Commitment to Conservation

The headwaters of Plott Creek, nestled in the Appalachian Highlands, are a vital and pristine ecosystem that supports local wildlife and feeds the Pigeon River, which flows into the French Broad River. However, rapid development, pollution, and climate change threaten this delicate environment.
Our organization is committed to conserving these headwaters by protecting water quality, restoring habitats, and in securing conservation easements on key private lands to ensure the area's long-term health. Through collaboration with experts, stakeholders, and the community, we're working to preserve the ecological and aesthetic value of Plott Creek. With your support, we can help this vital ecosystem thrive for generations to come.
